I never thought I would find myself in this position, but here I am, a single mom by choice. It wasn't an easy decision, but I knew deep down that I wanted to bring a child into this world and be a mother, even if that meant doing it on my own. Society often shames those who have children outside of marriage, but for me, it was the right choice. I struggled with the fear of judgement and the pressure to conform to societal norms, but in the end, I followed my heart and chose what was best for me and my future child. It hasn't been easy, and there have been times when I've felt overwhelmed and alone, but the love I have for my child outweighs any challenges. Being a mother has taught me so much about love, strength, and resilience, and I wouldn't change a thing. This confession is my way of breaking the stigma and sharing my story with others who may be in a similar situation. I hope that by being open and honest, I can help others feel less alone and more accepted in their own journey.
