So before now I was always a little hesitant when it came to dating and relationships. I had been through some experiences in the past and was not eager to put myself out there again. But, one day, I decided to give online dating a try. I did set up a profile and started swiping through potential matches. I came across a guy. He was attractive, funny, and seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me. We chatted for a few days and decided to meet up for a drink. Our first date was great. We talked for hours, laughed, and had an instant connection. We ended up going out for a few more dates and eventually, I felt ready to take the next step. But, instead of jumping into a serious relationship, we decided to just have fun and enjoy each other's company. We set boundaries and communicated openly, always making sure that they were both comfortable with the situation. Over time, I realized that casual dating was not something to be ashamed of. It was a way for me to gain confidence and learn more about herself and what I wanted in a partner. We went their separate ways but remained friends.
